Living within our beloved village, we've long been aware of the challenges many children face, including walking to school with tattered shoes, and some even barefoot. Last year, however, a divine calling stirred us to take a definitive step. Compelled by God's love, we initiated an outreach that provided new school shoes for every child at the primary school right next to our church. The immense joy and renewed hope on their faces affirmed this powerful mission. This experience ignited a deep passion within us to make this an annual endeavor, expanding our reach beyond just shoes to address even more critical needs. We firmly believe every child deserves the tools to succeed, and together, we can empower the next generation in our community and beyond.

Equipping Minds: School Supplies for Success: Imagine starting the school year without a backpack or essential supplies. For many children in our community, this is a harsh reality. We are working towards providing backpacks filled with basic school supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, etc.) to every child at the beginning of each school year. This simple provision can dramatically impact their ability to learn and thrive in the classroom.

From Our Village to Surrounding Communities: Inspired by the success and profound impact of our initial school shoe drive, we're committed to making this an annual tradition. Our immediate goal is to continue providing new school shoes and durable school uniforms for all children at our local primary school. Beyond that, we feel called to expand our outreach to the surrounding villages, ensuring that more children have access to these basic necessities for a dignified education.
Building a Sanctuary for Learning: After School Program
Our long-term vision extends beyond material provisions to creating a dedicated space for academic growth and development. We dream of building an after-school hub right here at our church. This safe and nurturing environment would offer children access to computers and reliable internet, providing vital digital literacy skills. It would also be a dedicated space for homework assistance, with tutors available to guide them through challenging subjects. This holistic approach aims to foster a love for learning, bridge educational gaps, and empower these children to reach their full potential.
